Description

A round disc of blue resin stands on its edge in a small clear stand, the colour deep and almost navy at the rim and brightening to a vivid, glowing blue toward the centre. The face is smooth and polished, so the brighter middle reads like a pool of light held inside the darker ring. The clear stand holds the disc upright and is supplied with it.

A Pool of Bright Blue Inside a Navy Rim

A disc this simple depends entirely on its colour, and the blue is graded from the edge inward so that the rim, where the resin is seen at its thickest, closes up to navy while the face opens out into a bright, clear blue. The surface is polished to a mirror finish on both sides, which lets the disc pick up the light around it, and the clear stand is kept small and plain so that the colour has nothing to compete with and the disc seems to stand on its own.

Standing 30cm in its stand, it is sized for a bookcase shelf or a writing desk, seen at close range. Such a vivid blue stands out sharply in a white room, and side light from a window makes its centre glow. Group it with plain clear glass or keep it on its own as a single spot of colour.

Blue Grading, the Stand and Delivery

Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. The blue can be graded more sharply or kept even, or the disc made in another colour, amber, green or red, with the same deep rim around it. The stand can be made in a frosted finish, or a block of stone can take its place on request. Disc and stand are boxed separately in fitted foam, and setting the piece up is a one-person job that needs no tools at all. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
