A dining chair cast in clear, glossy blue resin. The back is a curved shell that wraps forward at the sides and runs down into the seat in one sweep, with no rail or frame, and the seat has a crisp rim along its front edge. Four legs splay gently outward; each runs smooth for most of its length and finishes in a short stack of close rings just above the foot.
Clear blue resin shows its depth as tone. Across its broad faces the back stays bright and watery, while its edges, where the eye looks along the casting, read as deeper lines of blue that outline the chair. The legs are solid, so they hold a steadier mid-blue, and the rings at their feet each catch a separate highlight, giving the base of the chair a glittering texture against the smooth body. Seat, back and legs run together with no visible joint, and the whole chair is polished to a high gloss.
At 72cm it is a full dining chair, made to sit at a table or a desk every day. The blue looks clean in a white kitchen or dining room and lively beside pale oak, and a row of them down a long table reads like coloured glass. Place it where light falls from the side and the shell glows. Indoor use only.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The blue can be mixed lighter or darker, or exchanged for another tint at order. The rings can stay at the foot, run further up the leg, or be dropped for a plain taper, and the height of the seat is chosen to suit a particular table. Chairs ordered as a set are cast at one time so the colour agrees across them. Each is crated separately, arrives ready to use, and a single person can carry it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Made for everyday sitting, this blue chair belongs to our art furniture; its glassy blue pour suits our resin sculptures, and the chair also appears in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
