This pale aqua wave is built from three parts that read as one. On one side a solid wall of water, at its deepest blue, curls up to a sharp crest; across the hollow it shelters, a stack of slim ribs runs from that wall to the far side, with open gaps between them that widen towards the rim; and on the far side the water breaks into a churning splash. Out of the splash a nearly colourless spire climbs to a forked tip, with curled fingers of spray rising beside it.
The difficulty in a form like this is making the open part and the solid part belong to one movement. Here the ribs leave the crest wall at different heights and curve across to the splash, so the change from mass to air happens gradually across the hollow rather than at an edge, and the ribs themselves are deliberately unequal in length and spacing. Ruled to a regular pitch they would read as a grille, which is the one thing a wave is not. The aqua runs deepest in the crest wall and at the foot, pales across the ribs and fades almost to nothing in the spire.
Rising 70cm on its block of black marble, the wave suits a console or a sideboard in front of a window, where the gaps between the ribs fill with light. Against a dark wall the gaps go black and the ribs merge into one shape, so a pale wall, a lit panel or a window behind it keeps them open. Turn it to the way people come into the room rather than square to the furniture, so the ribs and the spire are met first. Indoor use only.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The spacing of the ribs is agreed first, since it sets how much of the room shows through the hollow. On commission the ribs can be drawn closer or more open, the aqua deepened towards sea green or kept this pale, and the spire left off where a quieter outline is wanted; the whole wave can be scaled to suit its position. It travels in a single case with each rib faced and the marble boxed apart, and on site the marble is levelled first and the wave lowered onto it, held by the solid crest wall and never by the ribs. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
An aqua wave holding open ribs between its crest and a clear spire belongs with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
