A blue arch rising from a ribbed foot and coming down again on a smooth one. Colour is strongest where the legs meet the surface and washes out to near-white across the crown, running continuous on the smooth leg and broken into steps by the cuts on the ribbed one. Nothing is supplied under it; the two feet of the arch are what it rests on.
An arch with matching feet is a bridge, and a bridge is symmetrical and therefore still. Making the two legs different is what gives this one a direction. One foot is cut in deep horizontal ribs that catch light in bands and read as heavy; the other is left smooth and reads as weightless, so the eye starts at the ribbed end and travels over the span to the plain one. Reverse the approach and the piece reads differently, which is the point of it. The ribbing is also doing something for the colour. The blue is deepest at both feet and pales through the middle of the span, and on the smooth leg that gradient is continuous. On the ribbed leg it is broken into steps by the cuts, so the same colour arrives as a wash on one side and as a sequence on the other, though the tint is the same.
At 50cm it belongs on a broad shelf or a writing desk rather than the floor, and it should be placed so the span is seen end on, which is the only view in which the arch is an arch. Something visible under the span is worth arranging, because the opening beneath is a large part of the object. Light raking along the ribbed foot does far more for it than light from the front, which flattens the ribs into lines.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The arch is drawn at other spans, the ribbing is cut coarser, and the blue is washed almost out of the body. The span is also drawn at other widths, which changes the proportion of opening to material and is the alteration that changes the piece most. The ribbing is cut coarser or carried further up the leg. A frosted body is offered and suits the graded blue, though it removes the transmitted light through the thin middle of the span. It travels in one case bedded on both feet with the crown packed clear, since the top of the span is the thinnest section in the casting. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
An arch that rises and comes down again is organic sculpture; the blue runs through the casting as resin sculpture; and the ribbing reads under indoor sculpture light.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
