This cast resin sculpture reaches as much as it rises: blue at the foot, colourless above, with one arm sweeping up out of the bowl and across the top of it before climbing into a branching crown, and a low spray reaching out past the edge of the stone at the other end. The blue is dense where the material gathers at the bottom and is gone before the first division, so the arms read as spray rather than as water. Each arm divides once and then again, and the ends are left blunt rather than drawn to points.
A form that reaches has to balance on less than it covers, and that is settled before anything else. The arms carry out past the edge of the stone at both ends, so the mass in the foot is doing two jobs at once: it is the visual weight that makes the reach look deliberate, and it is the counterweight that stops the piece being a lever. Neither can be adjusted afterwards. It also means the arms have to be drawn asymmetrically and still look settled - one side carries further than the other, and the piece is turned on its stone until the two read as balanced rather than measured. A form like this that is truly symmetrical looks like a diagram.
The low spray carries out over the edge of the base, so it needs clear air round it rather than a corner. Put into an angle of a room, one arm is always closer to a wall than the other and the reach stops reading as reach. It wants to be passed rather than faced: the piece changes a great deal between one side and the other, and the difference is most of the interest. At 144cm with its base it suits the floor of a hall or a large room, and the crown comes to about shoulder height, so the eye crosses the clear branches before it drops to the blue in the bowl.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. The arms hang well outside the foot at both ends, so the piece has to balance on a footprint narrower than its own reach. The reach of the arms is drawn to order, the base comes in this stone or a pale one, and the blue may climb further up the rising arm or stop at the rim of the bowl. The height is cut to suit the room, and the arms can be drawn in closer and heavier for a position where they would be caught. It arrives in one braced crate with each arm faced separately and the stone packed beneath, and it goes together on site by levelling the stone and lowering the casting on by its foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A blue bowl throwing one arm over the top and up into a branching crown keeps this splash with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
