Three polished peaks in a deep teal, with an arch cut clean through beneath the centre one. Below them a shallow curve of the same resin sweeps out to the right and carries a small flattened disc. Shallow through its depth, the piece rests on a black marble slab that comes with it and is narrower than the peaks above.
Cutting a void through a solid casting is not a modelling decision, it is a curing one. Resin contracts as it sets, and a mass with a hole in it contracts unevenly: the material around the opening has nothing on the inside to pull against, so all the movement concentrates in the arch itself. Left at the thickness it looks like it should be, that arch would craze along its underside on a good proportion of castings. It is therefore drawn heavier than it reads, with the extra material hidden on the inner face where the polish carries the eye past it. The sweep beneath is cast separately for the same reason.
The opening is the whole argument, so what stands beyond it decides how well the piece works. A window, a lit alcove or a pale wall at a little distance all work; a dark surface directly behind closes the arch and the piece becomes a solid lump. It is polished, so it will also collect whatever is in front of it. Allow its full width, set it at or slightly below eye height, and keep the area beyond it clear for about the depth of the piece again.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The opening is cut wider or narrowed to a slot, the teal is taken toward green, and the small form on the sweep is left off altogether. A frosted finish is offered and changes the object completely, since a frosted arch stops transmitting and reads as a hole rather than a window. The marble is also cut long enough to run under the full width of the peaks. It travels in one case with the arch bridged internally so nothing presses on it, the marble flat beneath, and two people lift it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Three teal peaks lifted on an arch join our organic sculptures; a polished sweep carrying a small disc ties it to our resin sculptures, and an opening with clear space beyond it is right for our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
