From a heavy foot, this blue wave rises in a tall curl and then runs out almost flat into a long crest, its colour clearing from deep teal-blue in the foot to colourless frost at the far tip. Two fine silver wires leave the foot within the curl, loop up and run out beneath the crest, and six gilded leaves ride along them in a line that climbs gently as it travels. Everything on it is drawn in a single shallow plane, and it stands on black marble.
The piece is drawn almost flat, and that decides everything about the leaves. On a deep piece a leaf can sit forward or back and the eye reads it as depth; here there is no depth to read, so a leaf set even slightly out of the plane does not look three-dimensional, it looks wrong, like a drawing with one line lifted off the paper. Every wire is therefore bent in one plane and checked by sighting down the length of the piece rather than from the front, which is the only view that shows a leaf out of true. It is a tedious check and there is no substitute for it.
It is a line rather than a mass, so it belongs along a wall and not out on a table. On a console or a long shelf it draws across the wall behind it and the leaves read one after another; in the open it presents its thin edge from half the positions in the room and disappears. What it asks for is length rather than depth, which makes it useful on a narrow ledge where nothing deeper would fit.
Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. The whole piece keeps to one shallow plane and every leaf has to sit in it, because one leaf out of it turns a drawing into a thicket. The leaf spacing is set at order, the blue is run the whole way through, and a mirrored version is built for a position approached from the left. The rise at one end is drawn steeper or flattened out, which changes the piece more than the leaves do. It travels flat in one long case with the leaves sleeved and the wave bedded, and it is lifted by the solid end and set on its stone. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A long blue wave with six gilded leaves riding in a line beneath its crest stands alongside our organic sculptures, our metal sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
