Blue Layered Peak & Reflection Acrylic Sculpture - 100cm
Blue Layered Peak & Reflection Acrylic Sculpture - 100cm $4,53400
Description

The Blue Layered Peak & Reflection Acrylic Sculpture sets a twin-peaked range above its own mirrored reflection, on a white marble base. The piece is built from stacked acrylic sheets whose stepped edges describe the contours, and the blue runs deepest through the base of the reflection. Between the blue of the two slopes and the deeper blue of the two inverted points, a frosted white band runs along the waterline.

Graduated Acrylic Layers, Twin-Peak Profile

Every sheet in this blue acrylic mountain sculpture is cut to its own outline and stacked in sequence, so the ridged edges of the stack do the work of drawing the mountains. Acrylic holds a cleaner cut edge than cast resin, which is why the contour steps read so crisply here and why the piece rewards being seen close to. The graduation is built from tinted and clear sheets in sequence rather than sprayed on, so it cannot fade. Each stack is aligned and bonded by hand and the assembled edges are then finished as one surface.

This is a console, sideboard, wide shelf or reception desk piece, and it is designed to be read side-on so it wants a plain wall behind it. The base is included and the piece simply stands on it. It sits well against pale plaster, oak and brushed brass, and against dark walls where the tint carries the light. It is for indoor use only.

Specifying the Graduation, or Leaving It Clear

In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Alternative spans are offered, alternative base stone including black marble and travertine, and the graduation can be specified in a different tint or left entirely clear. A bespoke outline can be cut to a range you name or to a drawing you send us. The stack is rigid but the leading edges are fine, so it should be lifted by the body and never by a summit. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A twin-peaked range in blue acrylic, stepped over its own reflection, is held in our acrylic sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our organic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
