A long low table whose top is pale timber, golden in the grain, with a blue resin field set into it. Inside it two pools are worked in graded rings, pale green at their rims and deep blue-green at their middles, and a bar of figured timber runs between them. The edges are sawn straight and square, and the timber is built up from blocks rather than cut as one board.
The rings are the whole point of the top. They follow the shape of each cavity rather than describing circles, so they crowd tightly where an opening narrows and spread apart where it widens, and the result reads as a contour map rather than as a river. Colour is graded across them: a pale green holds the outer ring, teals sit behind it, and the middle of each pool goes to a deep blue-green. One pool is broad and fills the middle of the top, and the other is a rounder shape at one end. Against that, the timber keeps its own figure, and the golden tone of the grain is what stops the blue reading as glass.
This is a low table on a large scale. It stands above a sofa seat rather than level with it, which makes it a piece the seating is arranged around instead of pushed up to, and it is well below eating height. It earns most from being seen from above, so a room with real daylight or a downlight over it shows the rings, where a lamp-lit corner flattens them. Keep floor clear around it, since the pools read differently from each side and a wall along one long side wastes half of the top. Indoor use only.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. Four things are decided at order. The length and the depth are made to the room rather than to the figures here. The strength of the colour runs from a pale aquamarine that leaves the timber dominant, through to the deep blue-green here. The number of pools and where they fall are agreed before the top is worked, so one long pool or three round ones are both possible. And the species is a choice, since a dark board changes the reading of the blue completely. The table ships on a purpose-built pallet with the edges boxed, comes in by pallet courier, and needs four people to carry and place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two terraced blue pools in a squared timber top place this among our art furniture; the water-worn contours lead to our organic sculptures, and the poured blue to our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
