A blue range under one tall spire, with black ink drawn through it. The ink gathers wherever the body runs thickest and thins to almost nothing in the spire itself, which is the finest part of the piece. The spire stands left of centre and the range falls away from it to both sides. It is deep from front to back and takes no base.
Read the ink and you are reading the thickness of the casting. It collects through the heavy ground at the foot and in the shoulders of the heavier masses, and it is nearly absent in the spire, which carries the least material of anything on the piece. That makes the veining a section drawing of the object laid over its own surface - a thing no one designed and nobody can specify, and the reason the spire on every casting comes out clearer than the ground beneath it.
The ink needs light through the body to read as ink rather than as shadow, so this wants a bright position, and daylight reaching it matters more than any lamp. Against a wall in a dim corner the black closes up and the whole range reads as a solid blue mass. It needs real depth as well as length, which is a sideboard rather than a shelf.
Build times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The ink gathers where the casting is thickest and is nearly absent in the spire, so the veining reads the depth of material. The density of ink is set at order, the blue is taken deeper, and the range is built at other spans. A version with no ink is a plain blue range and loses the section drawing entirely. It is crated to its length with the spire sleeved and the ground bedded, and two people carry it level. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A blue range veined in black belongs with our organic sculptures; veining that thins out in the spire places it in our resin sculptures, and a bright position for the ink to read suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
