This tulip bud is cast in frosted blue resin. Its petals rise from a narrow foot and open into a loose, uneven cup, some curling outward at their tips, and each is veined with fine lines along its length. The blue is deep and saturated at the base and pales towards the petal edges, where it takes on a lavender tint.
Frosting gives the resin the soft, waxy look of a real petal, and it spreads the colour evenly so that the blue glows rather than shines. The petals overlap as they would in a bud, each with its own curl, its own fine veins and its own softly ruffled top edge, so the flower never looks stamped out. The colour is graded from the heart of the flower outward, dense at the base and light at the edges, so the bud seems to be opening towards the light.
At 30cm it suits a dressing table, a desk or a bookcase, in a bedroom, a study or a sitting room, or a deep windowsill. A window beside or behind it makes the frosted blue glow, and a pale surface beneath keeps the colour clear. It looks well alone or as a small group of buds in different colours along a shelf.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. It can be made in another colour, pink, amber, green or white, or with a clear body and coloured edges, and it can be polished instead of frosted for a glassy flower. A pink bud reads like a garden tulip, and a white one is calmer. Several buds in different colours can be ordered to stand together as a small bunch along a shelf or a mantel. It comes in a small padded carton, ready to be taken out and placed. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted blue tulip whose ruffled petals open loosely at the top is set among our resin sculptures, our contemporary and modern sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
