A frosted resin curl that turns almost through a full circle and stops, both of its ends cut off on a slant so that each finishes in a sharp point, the upper one rising like the tip of a flame. Deep aqua holds at the foot of the sweep and runs up its outer side, clearing to a pale frosted white at each end. The curl stands on a short pin at the middle of a long, low bar of frosted acrylic, which runs out far beyond it on either side.
A curl standing partway along a run of acrylic far longer than itself is making a claim about the space beside it rather than about the object. The bar is frosted rather than clear, so it reads as a pale, quiet plane that glows faintly where the light falls on it, and the empty length on either side of the curl stays empty. The curl is frosted too, so its colour reads as a soft glow rather than a hard edge: the aqua gathers at the foot of the sweep and fades towards the two pointed ends, and the form seems to rise out of its own colour.
This wants a whole console to itself, with the bar visible from one end of its run to the other. Light from one side falls along the frosted acrylic and makes it glow, which is what keeps the run from reading as a shelf. A plain wall behind holds the curl, and the bar wants support along its whole length rather than at the ends alone. Most of what meets the eye is pale, empty acrylic, and the curl arrives as an incident partway along something much longer.
Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. The aqua is deepened toward the ends instead of the foot, and the curl is polished clear rather than frosted. The bar is made at other lengths and the curl at other spans, and the two are settled together. A polished curl reads as glass against the frosted bar, where a frosted one reads as part of the same pale material. Curl and bar are packed separately, and the bar is carried flat and level, with a hand under each end. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
The bar beneath it is acrylic sculpture; the curl is organic sculpture; and a run of this length belongs in indoor sculpture.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
