A flat band folding back on itself the whole way up, each turn sitting clear of the one below it, and opening at the crown into a wide trumpet. Blue right through the ribbon, darkest where the folds double and clearing toward the trumpet at the top. It comes with a black block, cut close under the foot of the band.
Folding is not turning, and the difference is what this design is for: a turn keeps the band's face toward you the whole way round, and a fold presents its edge at every reversal. The edges are what the eye counts. Folding a band back on itself puts two thicknesses in the eye's path at every turn, and a tinted body reports each of them separately. Polished on both faces of the band, including the inside of every fold, which is most of the surface.
It suits a console or a wide shelf, set where the trumpet is at or just above the eye. Give it a pale ground. Blue against a dark wall closes the folds into one mass. Use two sources. A folded band takes a shadow into every turn, and one lamp fills only half of them. What takes the eye is the trumpet at the top, and the folds are found on the way back down.
Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. Ask us to add a fold, to open the trumpet further, or to cut the block in another stone. Add a fold and the ribbon gains height, because the turns are spaced to a set pitch instead of being squeezed into the rise they have. The same ribbon is made in a green carrying gold leaf suspended through the body. Ribbon and block are packed separately and stacked where the piece will stand. Two people, one at the trumpet and one at the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A blue band folding back and forth up to a trumpet leads to our organic sculptures; the folded casting belongs among our resin sculptures, and further pieces to meet at eye height are in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
