A ring of water curls round on itself here, deep blue in the swell at its foot and clearing to colourless resin as its arms climb and arch over the top. Every arm finishes in a rounded droplet that sits heavier than the arm beneath it, some reaching in towards the open centre and others flicking outwards, and small beads stand along the crown of the ring. Being so slim from front to back, it reads from the front almost as a drawing in water, and the blue is strongest where the ring meets its black marble block.
Putting the weight at the end of a thin arm is the opposite of what the material wants. Each droplet here is thicker than the arm carrying it and sits at the far end of it, which means the arm has to be drawn to a taper that looks effortless and is in fact doing the most work at its thinnest point. There is no bracing and nothing to hide behind: the arms are seen against daylight from both sides. What settles each one is the rate of the taper rather than its thickness: an arm that narrows evenly reads as one unbroken gesture, while an abrupt change of width would catch the light as a bright seam in the clear resin.
Standing 48cm on its marble block, it suits a hall console or a kitchen return, where it is met at the right distance and each droplet can be picked out; on a coffee table it is looked down on and the ring closes to a line. It needs almost no depth, so a narrow surface takes it comfortably. Against a dark ground the clear tips separate; against a pale one the blue at the foot does the work instead. Indoor use only.
Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. Since the droplets are the point of the piece, their number is agreed with the order before anything else. On commission the blue can be carried towards violet, the clear resin at the tips run further down the arms to lighten the whole ring, and the ring drawn at another size; the black marble block can be cut from a different stone. Packed for delivery in one padded box, with each droplet faced and the block underneath, the ring is lifted out by its blue swell, where the resin is heaviest. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Droplet-tipped arms clearing out of a deep blue swell lead this ring on to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
