A small blue ball opened into a pair of hollows winding past each other across a single wall. The blue is carried right through the material rather than graded, which is what this diameter asks for. It stands on a small black disc, which comes with it and lifts it just clear of the surface.
Small is where this design nearly fails. There is very little material between one scoop and the next at this diameter, so an ordinary tint comes out as a flat colour and the turn stops reading as a turn at all. The blue here is run deep for that reason, which is why the piece holds its shape across a room instead of looking like a scale model of something else. Even the thin wall between the hollows holds enough blue to read, so the turn is legible from a doorway as well as in the hand.
At 23cm this is a desk or shelf piece and it is meant to be handled: it can be picked up, turned, and put down somewhere else. It suits a working surface, a bookshelf at eye level, or a sill with daylight behind it. Because it is read close, the finish of the inner scoops matters more here than it does on the floor-standing castings.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The ball is cast at other diameters, the blue is deepened, and the disc beneath is offered in stone. A different diameter is the change most often asked for on this one, and the disc beneath it is made in stone where a heavier foot is wanted. A graded tint is offered in place of the even one and gives a different object, though at this size the grading has very little material to happen in and comes out as a band rather than a sweep. It travels in one box, the disc packed apart from the casting, and one person can carry it in one hand. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A turning cut at desk scale belongs with our organic sculptures; the blue carried through the ball leads to our resin sculptures, and a piece to be picked up joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
