A frosted resin cradle that sweeps up from a low end to a tall, flaring one, its walls worked in tiers of close parallel grooves. At the low end the rim is torn into two points; at the tall end it opens into a broad mouth whose torn edge steps at angular corners, and the two ends lean apart. Cobalt bands the outer wall just below the rim and clears to a pale frosted grey at the foot and across the inner face. A thin black marble block is supplied, lifting the cradle only slightly.
A cradle combed along its whole outer wall is a piece about rhythm, and the torn rim is where the rhythm stops. The grooves are not even along their length. They open where the wall turns outward and close where it comes back, so the combing describes the curve rather than sitting on it. The combing is laid in tiers, each band of grooves stepping out from the one beneath, so the wall reads as layered rather than simply scored. The whole surface is frosted, and where the cobalt runs it gathers deepest in the grooves, so the combing shows as much by its colour as by its shadows.
A side table is the right scale, close enough to read the combing. Set it against something plain so the torn rim is the only broken line in view. Light caught across the ribs breaks into a row of lines, which is the whole reason for the combing. From standing, the torn rim is the shape; the combing is a thing you find on approach.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The combing is cut closer or wider, the rim is left unbroken, and the blue is taken toward green. Cut the combing wider and the rim is re-torn to suit, because the two edges belong to one rhythm. Cradle and block are crated side by side, and the cradle is always lifted under the foot of the sweep, never by the torn rim or by the tall flared end. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted cradle combed in tiers of cobalt and pale grey keeps company with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
