Blue Closed Loop Resin Sculpture - 50cm with intertwined arms forming an open center, blue resin with bubble details, set on a black marble base against a plain white background.
Blue Closed Loop Resin Sculpture - 50cm $1,75500
Description

A loop cast wholly in blue resin, one colour from the foot to the crossing. Its two arms lift out of a shared foot and pass each other at the top, framing an open centre, and fine bubbles held in the casting catch the light across the blue. Black marble is supplied beneath it.

One Blue From Foot to Crossing

A single colour through the whole loop turns it into one continuous shape: without a change of tint to mark where one arm ends and the other begins, the eye follows the curve round without stopping. The blue reads deep at the foot and in the outer curves, and pale along the thin edges of the arms, so the form is shaded by its own drawing. The small bubbles belong to the material and are kept, scattered through the blue like frost. Polished over every face.

Best in a pale room, on a writing desk or a bookcase, where a strong colour on a small scale can do its work. Set against white or a light grey wall, the blue holds its own; on a dark ground it turns inky and the opening disappears. It likes a window beside it, where the curves take on a lighter blue towards the light.

A Deeper Blue, Another Stone, and Delivery

Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The blue can be mixed deeper, towards navy, or paler, towards sky, and the bubbles can be kept or cleared from the casting. A pale marble block can be cut in place of the black one. The crossing at the top can be drawn tighter or looser before casting, which changes how much of the opening shows. The loop comes packed with its block, and it is an easy lift for one person. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Blue castings and other deep single colours are gathered in our resin sculptures, with more looping, organic shapes in our organic sculptures and further small pieces for the home in our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
