A frosted disc, blue at the rim and paling toward the middle, with a raised burst standing proud at the centre. Fine drip lines run out from the burst toward a banded edge, each one lifted above the ground it sits on. It is carried on a clear arched stand, which comes with the disc.
The drip lines are the whole difficulty and they are a casting problem rather than a modelling one. Each is a thin raised ridge a few millimetres wide standing above a flat ground, and thin raised detail is exactly what a casting loses first: the material has to run right out to the tip of each before it begins to set, and any that fills short comes out as a stub. The answer is not to make them thicker, which would turn a burst into a flower. They are drawn instead with a slight taper from the centre outward, so the material is always running from a wider section into a narrower one and nothing has to travel uphill.
At 70cm on a stand that lifts it clear, it is console or sideboard work rather than shelf work, and it needs the full width of the stand. The burst reads from straight on and flattens from the side, so give it a position that is approached head on down a room or a hall. Light from above and slightly in front puts a shadow under every drip line, which is what separates them from the ground; light from directly in front loses the relief entirely.
A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. The burst is drawn broader or taken out and the ground left plain, the blue is graded from the rim inward or run flat, and the banded edge is cut away. A polished version is made and is another object altogether, since the frosting is what lets the raised detail cast a shadow at all. The disc is also built at other diameters on the same stand. Disc and stand travel in the same crate but in separate beds, and the disc is raised by its rim with a hand at each side. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A burst held inside a rim is organic sculpture; the blue body is resin sculpture; and drip lines this fine are indoor sculpture work.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
