A resin sculpture furling two sheets together from a single foot on a black marble block. One sheet sweeps across from a feathered edge at the left and runs out at the right into a long thin horn that curls upward; the other climbs to a tall sharp point, with a rounded lobe and a curled tip leaning away to the left. The ribbing is broad and rounded, so the surface presents folds rather than a run of lines. The colour is a clear sky blue, deepest through the foot and the sweeping front sheet and clearing at every edge.
Fold depth and rib pitch are two ways of doing the same job and they do it differently. A close-ribbed surface breaks light into many small highlights, which reads as shimmer and makes a sheet look thin; a few broad folds catch large soft highlights instead, and the sheet reads as something with body to it. This piece is worked the second way: rounded folds run the length of both sheets, sweeping across the front one and climbing the other to its tall point, and the colour gathers where they are deepest, through the foot and along the front sheet, clearing to almost nothing at the tips.
At 76cm including its stone this sits at console and sideboard height, and the folds want a raking light rather than a direct one: they are broad enough to hold a soft highlight and a hard beam flattens them. A hall console, a sideboard, a dining-room shelf or a wide cabinet top all work. Set it so the points at the top are clear of anything above them, since they lean apart and read as an opening gesture that a low shelf closes off. It reads well against a mid-tone wall, since the blue holds its own without a pale field behind it.
Lead times run 5–6 weeks bespoke and 3–4 standard. Fold depth, the number of points and the height are all drawn per commission, so a version with a single point or one worked in fine ribbing rather than broad folds both come from this design. It can be ordered in this sky blue or in amber, in smoke grey, or graded from a solid foot out to clear points. The block can be this black marble or a pale one. Take it by the foot and never by a point or by the horn. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two sky blue sheets of resin furled from one foot on a black marble block, the furl belongs alongside our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
