A long ridge of blue-and-white resin, the blue running up from the foot in streaks and fading into white across the peaks. Its highest summit is at the right end with another mid-way along, and a cluster of minor peaks runs out to the left. The casting rests on its own foot without a stand.
Blue rising into white is the oldest colouring in ceramics, and on this ridge it gives the mountains the look of glazed porcelain rather than of ice. The blue runs up from the foot in long streaks that follow the folds, so every gully is drawn in colour, and it thins into white across the upper slopes and the peaks. Where a clear range depends on light around it, the white body here holds its own colour against any wall, and the polished faces keep the blue streaks crisp.
Because the white holds its colour, it reads well even in a dim corner or against a plain wall where a clear piece would fade. A long console or a sideboard suits it, with clear space at both ends, and soft, even light shows the blue streaks best. It looks especially good in a room with blue and white ceramics.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The blue can be carried further up the peaks or kept low in the folds, a green or a black can replace it for a different glaze, and the ridge can be cast at another length. A frosted finish turns the white towards bisque, a flatter and more chalky look beside the glaze. It travels flat in a foam-bedded crate with the right-hand summit boxed, and two people handle it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A ridge glazed in blue and white belongs with our organic sculptures; blue streaked under white crests sets it among our resin sculptures, and a piece that holds its colour in a dim corner suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
