This cast resin sculpture is a blue wave caught breaking two ways at once. At one end the water rolls up into a curl whose crest turns glassy and clear as it folds over to a hooked tip; at the other a wedge of spray rises in white froth, granular and beaded like foam thrown off a breaking sea. Between them the blue runs low and deep through the body, veined with darker blue, and it needs no base, resting directly on its own broad, flat foot.
Two surfaces share this piece, and the contrast between them is the point of it. The curl is smooth and glassy, so it carries long reflections and the blue shows through its folds, while the froth at the far end is rough, beaded and white and takes the light as a soft glow rather than a shine. The change from one to the other is not made at a line: the blue breaks up into white across a broad, ragged zone, the way a sea turns to foam where it is flung up, so the eye reads one body of water changing state rather than two things joined. The low saddle across the middle keeps the two ends apart, and each can be read on its own before the whole is taken in.
It reads at close range and loses the froth beyond a few paces, so it wants to be within reach. A desk, a low cabinet, a broad windowsill or a coffee table all work for it, and it stands directly on the surface. Because the curl and the froth sit at opposite ends, it is best seen broadside, with its length across the line of sight, so that both are in view at once. Even room light is enough, since the white froth makes its own contrast against the blue, and a hard spotlight only flattens it by lighting the glassy crest to the same brightness.
Build times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The froth can be carried further along the body towards the curl or held back to the tip of the spray, and the blue can give way to a green or to clear resin. The span is drawn to order, and a version with no froth at all is made. It travels in one foam-lined case packed on its back with the crest protected, and it needs no assembly: it is lifted out by the solid body under the turn and set down. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A blue wave that curls glassy at one end and breaks into white froth at its far end sits well among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
