A wave curl cast in resin and frosted to a soft satin finish. A long, open hull runs between two raised ends: at one end the wall climbs into a crest whose top folds over and juts out into a sharp lip, like water about to break, and at the other it rises into a tall, rounded lobe. Navy blue holds the rims and both raised ends, and the colour turns to a dusky violet through the belly. It comes as the wave alone, with no base, resting on the curve of its hull.
A wave caught as its crest folds over is a question of where the eye goes first, and here the colour settles it. Navy is laid along every rim and into both raised ends, so the outline of the piece is drawn in its darkest tone, while the hull between them is left a dusky violet, softer and warmer, which deepens again towards the foot. The frosting matters as much as the colour: a satin surface carries the change from navy to violet as one continuous blend, with no reflections breaking it up. The lip at the crest is the single sharp edge on an otherwise rounded form, drawn thin so that it reads clearly against whatever stands behind it.
Desk or shelf, and the open side of the hull should be turned towards the room, not the wall, so that both raised ends and the violet inside them are read together. Frosted resin glows softly instead of glittering, so a lamp set to one side brings the violet up through the hull and leaves the navy rims crisp. A pale surface beneath separates the dark contact point from its own shadow. Cast without a base, it rests directly on the curve of its hull, low and close to whatever it stands on.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. On commission the violet is taken further up the walls or kept low in the hull, the navy deepened or softened, and the lip at the crest drawn out longer or brought in closer. The frosting can give way to a high polish, which turns the soft blend into a brighter, glassier one. Span is chosen at the order, and the turn keeps the same proportion however wide it goes. The resin can also be tinted another colour altogether, a warm amber or a colourless body among the choices. One box takes it, bedded under the hull with the crest standing free. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A wave taken at the turn is organic sculpture; the violet sits in resin sculpture; and something cast without a base is indoor sculpture shelf work.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
