The band folds back on itself the whole way up its height, each reversal standing clear of the one beneath, and opens at the crown into a trumpet turned to one side. Frosted blue running to violet down the band, with the trumpet the palest part of it. A block of black marble goes with it.
A band that folds rather than turns shows its edge at every reversal, and the edges are what the eye counts rather than the faces between them. The folds are spaced unevenly on purpose, so the count never settles into a rhythm the eye can run ahead of. The body is why a folded band is read one turn at a time: a frosted surface returns the light where it lands, so nothing behind shows through. Frosted over both faces and inside every fold, which on a folded band is most of the surface.
It belongs on a hall console with the trumpet carried above the eye. A dark wall at its back, because the frosted body is pale and needs an outline. Light reaching into the trumpet from above is what the piece is arranged for; from below only the marble gains. The trumpet reads across a room and the folds only separate from a pace away.
As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. Ask us for an extra fold, a wider trumpet, or a stone of another plan. Add a fold and the band grows in height, since the turns keep their own pitch rather than being pressed into the same rise. The stone is cut to whatever plan suits where it goes. Band and marble share a crate and go into position together. Two people: one steadies the trumpet while the other takes the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted blue-violet band opening at the crown belongs to our organic sculptures; its blue and violet run joins our resin sculptures, and its trumpet belongs above eye level, among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
