A ribbon of water that runs low from one end, clear and thin at its tip, then rises and turns over into a full loop at the centre before falling again and climbing into a raised curl at the far end. It is blue through the loop and the body, clearing towards both tips, and it rests on a black marble base beneath the loop.
A ribbon this long has to be kept in motion from end to end, and the loop is the heart of it: everything before it is gathering speed and everything after it is recovering. The ribbon is drawn as one continuous band that thickens as it approaches the loop and thins towards the tips, so the ends look light and airborne. The blue is concentrated where the band is fullest and clears at the ends. The base sits under the loop, and the rest of the ribbon runs free on either side.
It is long, so give it a long surface or a long floor position: a full-length sideboard, a console in a wide hall, a platform in a reception, or the top of a long cabinet. It reads best side on, where the loop and both curls can be seen together. Keep the wall behind it plain. Light from above picks out the loop and turns the blue luminous, and a low light along its length makes the clear tips shine.
It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. The blue can be deepened, paled or changed for an aqua, a green or an amber, and the ribbon can be made to another length with the loop kept in proportion. An aqua ribbon reads lighter and more like shallow water. Both tips are padded for the journey in a long crate, and two people take the ribbon out between them, holding the blue body and leaving the clear tips alone. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Rolling over into a loop and clearing to glassy tips, this blue ribbon is in good company with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
