Blue & Clear Arched Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture, 55cm, with deep blue wave base fading to clear resin arching arm, on a plain white background.
Blue & Clear Arched Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 55cm $2,16000
Description

Deep blue pools in the bowl of this splash and rises with the broad wall on its left, then fades through sky blue until the arm is clear by the time it crosses the top. From there the clear resin carries on upward as a stalk, pierced near its foot by a little round opening, climbs to a sharp two-pronged tip and throws a thin loop out to the right. In the bowl, blue fingers stand at uneven heights beneath a net of paler strands, while a long low arm reaches the other way, its tips almost colourless.

Deep Blue Water Breaking Into Clear Spray

The colour is graded from the foot upwards, so the splash reads like a wave breaking out of deep water into spray. At the bottom the blue is dense and vivid, close to cobalt in the folds of the bowl; up the left wall it brightens to azure, and where the wall rolls over into the band it gives way to clear resin with only a faint blue cast. Above that point the colour all but disappears, so the tip, the loop and the long openings of the band stay crisp and glassy against the weight of blue below. The change is gradual, with no ruled line anywhere along it.

Standing 55cm, it looks right on a sideboard or a wide writing table, ideally with daylight falling across it: a window to one side lights the blue in the bowl and keeps the clear spray above sharp-edged. It is at home in a white or pale grey room, beside driftwood tones and linen, and anywhere a coastal palette is wanted. Nothing busy should hang behind it, or the fine tip and the loop are lost against the pattern. Indoor use only.

Where the Blue Stops, Bespoke Options and Crating

Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. The price covers one splash, sold on its own. To order, the blue can be held down in the bowl or carried further up the arm, mixed brighter or darker, and the splash can be produced at a different size; the tip can also be drawn with a third prong. It travels in a single braced crate with the tip and the loop wrapped clear of everything, and it is lifted out by the bowl with both hands. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A bowl of deep blue that clears to glassy spray at the crest sends this splash to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
