An arched upright marbled in black and white, the design shared by the rest of its family, with the fin thrown sideways at mid height and everything carried on one splayed foot. Black and white again, with a band of teal caught where the fin meets the body and nowhere else on the piece. The house block comes with it in black marble, and the foot covers it corner to corner.
At this height the same design loses the table and gains a sideboard, and the band of teal is what stops it reading as a reduction of something else. The teal is not an addition to the marbling but an interruption of it, and putting it at the one place where the form changes direction is what makes it look intended rather than accidental. There is less material behind the teal than anywhere else on the piece, and that is the only reason it reads as a colour. Polished throughout, and the junction is where a poor polish would be found first.
A sideboard or a wide console, turned so the fin reaches into the room. Something quiet behind it, because the white takes its tone from whatever is there. A lamp set low lifts the teal out; anything overhead leaves the piece black and white. From across a room the fin is what registers, and the band of colour is what holds anyone who comes closer.
Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. The teal is carried the length of the seam, the black is darkened, and white stone is cut for the block. Run the teal along the whole junction and the black narrows to make room, since the two share one seam. A second version carries the clear blue right through with no white in it at all, and three others are made from the same form. Both parts arrive together with the stone underneath, and setting it up is a matter of lifting one onto the other. One person, one hand under the standing body. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Fins and arches swung out like this one continue in our organic sculptures, more marbled castings in our resin sculptures, and four further colourways of the same form among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
