The top of this cast resin and fibreglass table is a near-black field with scattered iridescent green and gold fragments suspended in it, held under a thick clear rim that carries the light round the whole circumference. It stands on a solid tapering cone finished matt black, so the base takes no reflection at all and everything that happens visually happens in the top.
The fragments sit at different depths through the field and catch light at different angles rather than lying flat in one plane. The clear rim runs right round the field with no seam between them, and it is polished on the outside and under the lip so the light carries the whole way round. The cone is built up in fibreglass and finished matt, which is what keeps the base quiet under a top that is doing a great deal. The cone is weighted at the foot so the table cannot be tipped by a hand on the rim.
It is a low centre table for a hall, a lobby or a seating group, where its top can be looked down into. The top is the piece and it reads from above, so a position under a pendant or a rooflight gives it far more than a wall does, and the matt cone means it can stand on a busy floor without competing with it.
Figure the difference between standard and bespoke at 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The fragment work in the top is the slow part. Three things are yours to choose. The fragment colour is open, the top can be poured over a clear field instead of a dark one, and the cone can be finished in a gloss where a quieter base is not wanted. Nothing fixes the top diameter or the overall height but your figures. Once the order is placed as one, where the fragments fall in the top is carried through it. The crate is built so nothing touches the thick top rim and the cone foot; four people take it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Iridescent fragments in a near-black top on a matt cone connect this table with our fibreglass sculptures; in a lobby it joins our art furniture, and the suspended fragments suit our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
