This square block table is cast in clear resin around painted timber boards. Its body is built from timber boards joined edge to edge, and their faces carry a painted ground of cream and pale tan with a broad grain figure running vertically. Over that ground, black forms run down each face like heavy drips, some reaching the foot and some stopping halfway. The whole block is wrapped in a skin of clear resin, so every face is glassy and the arrises are sharp.
Three things are stacked here and all three are visible at once. Innermost, the boards: joined vertically, their edges showing as faint straight seams, their painted ground a warm cream broken by darker tan where the figure runs. Over that, the black drip forms, which are the strongest element and quite deliberate in their placement, running from the top arris down each face at different lengths so no two sides read alike. Outermost, the clear wrap, which does two things: it makes every face reflective, so the block picks up the room as a bright vertical smear, and it holds the drips just below the surface, so they read as being inside the object rather than painted onto it. Look at a corner and both faces are seen at once through the same thickness.
At 50cm it works as a tall side table or a stand, its top level with a sofa seat; it is slim enough to fit between chairs and solid enough to carry a sculpture of its own. The top is a flat glassy plane and takes a lamp, a tray or a stack of books. It rewards a position where one face is lit and another is not, because the drips read strongest in reflection and the painted ground reads strongest in flat light. On a pale floor the sharp arrises are the whole silhouette. Indoors only.
Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The drip pattern is drawn for each block, so the count and the reach are both open: a few long runs as here, many short ones, or none at all, which leaves the painted boards to carry the piece. The ground is the second decision, from this cream and tan through to a grey, a green or a plain single tone. The wrap can also be run heavier, which deepens every reflection and adds real weight. Plan and height are cut to your own figures. It travels palletised inside one crate, and a solid block of this size wants two people to set it down. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Black drips over painted boards earn this block its spot among our abstract sculptures; its clear wrap puts it with our resin sculptures, and its everyday role as a side table or stand our art furniture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
