This is two interlocking sections that stand together as one table: one in matt opaque black, the other in glossy translucent deep red, with the joint between them cut along a wave rather than a straight line. Soft waves carry right round the edge of both, and together they read as a single spill that has been cut down the middle.
The two sections are cast separately and their meeting edges are then cut to each other along the wave, which is harder than a straight butt because the line has to hold true on a curve in two planes at once. The black is finished matt and left opaque; the red is polished to a gloss and left translucent, so one section takes the light and the other passes it. The two are checked together on a flat bed before either is crated, and the meeting faces are polished to the same grade as the outer walls so the joint reads as a line and not as a gap.
Joined, the two sections form one low table to stand clear of the walls, and they can be pushed tight against each other or drawn slightly apart. The red end wants light behind or beside it and the black end wants none, so the orientation is worth settling before either section is set down. Set tight, the pair hold each other steady; drawn apart, each stands on its own footprint.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The interlocking joint is the slow part. Specify three things and the rest follows. Either section is offered in another colour, the wave the joint follows can be moved along the outline, and the two can be built to different depths. Both the pair length and the section depth are yours to set. Several ordered together are worked so that the line of the joint between the two agrees. The packing is designed round the two interlocking edges and the wave crests; allow four people on arrival. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Black and red halves joined on a wave make a low table for our art furniture; the spilled outline suits our organic sculptures, and both cast sections our resin sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
