Glossy black resin forms the heart of this piece, where two wings pass over one another: one rises to a tall upswept tip, the other reaches out long and low, and a rounded arch stands between them over a deep cradle. The body, the cradle and the foot of the form are a black so dense it is close to opaque, and the colour lifts through smoky grey passages to an olive-yellow over the crown of the arch and along both tips. A plain black marble block is supplied with it.
Black does most of the work here. The body, the foot of the form and the cradle are so dark that they read as solid, holding sharp reflections of the room like lacquer, while the wings above them lighten as they rise. Smoky grey passages open up over the arch, and the crown and both tips take on an olive-yellow, a muted, mossy shade that keeps the contrast from turning harsh. That play between the dense black and the clearer passages gives the piece its depth, and a high gloss covers every surface.
Its strong contrast suits a pale room: on a sideboard or a console set against white paint or pale plaster, the black body stands out sharply and the olive-yellow tips catch the eye at both ends. Light from behind brings the grey and olive passages to life, while light from the front shows off the gloss on the black. It sits well in a modern living room, an office or a reception area, with room left either side for the tips. Indoor use only.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. As a commission the black can be carried further into the wings or held back to the cradle, the olive-yellow warmed towards amber or cooled towards green, and the grey passages cleared or deepened. The block can be cut from white or grey marble in place of black, and the design can be scaled to other spans in the same proportions. It is crated with foam under the body and each tip wrapped on its own, and anyone lifting it takes hold of the black body, never a tip or the arch. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Glossy black wings tipped in olive-yellow lead naturally into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
