Description

The frieze is read in two storeys. Above, semi-nude figures recline at a banquet on couches. Below, nine draped figures walk in procession with a lyre, columns, a theatrical mask and a globe among them. A plain frame holds both registers together.

Wall Sculpture Divided Into Two Registers

A divider band separates the registers and does all the compositional work, letting the two scenes stay independent without drifting apart. The drapery arrises are cut crisply throughout at a moderate relief depth. Faint ochre and grey staining sits along the divider and through the field beneath it.

Two-register work rewards a wall you pass slowly: a library, a museum room, a college corridor, a dining hall or a long landing. It is a piece to read rather than to glance at, so it belongs at standing eye level where both storeys are comfortable to follow.

Crisp Drapery Arrises Across a Wide Field

Six weeks. The divider band does the compositional work, letting the banquet above and the procession below stay independent without drifting apart, and cutting it true across the width is what takes the time. The run is yours, and the two registers can be supplied as one panel or split into a pair. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Roughly 135kg, crated flat, hung on concealed plates.

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
