A wave that sweeps down from a small crest on one side, through an aqua trough, and up into a tall crest whose spray splays upward in long fingers. Fine wires rise from the little crest and arc over the top, and along them runs a line of gilded leaves, so the leaves travel across the piece above the water. The resin pales from aqua blue at the foot to a frosted, milky white in the fingers of both crests, and the wave rises from a compact black marble block.
Two materials that behave nothing alike share this piece, and the design keeps them apart. The water is heavy, fluted and translucent, drawn upward in fingers; the leaves are small, bright and opaque, and the wires that hold them are kept as fine as their span allows, so that they almost disappear and the leaves seem to drift. Each leaf is angled a little differently along the run, as leaves on a current would be, and the line they make answers the curve of the tall crest beneath it. The aqua stays in the trough and the fingers are frosted a soft white, so the gold of the leaves reads against them.
Standing 101cm, it suits a sideboard or a console at about waist height, so that the leaves sit at or just above the eye, in a hall or a living room with a quiet wall behind. The wires need a little clearance on every side, since they reach past the base, so keep it off a crowded surface and away from a door that swings. Light from one side makes the gilding flash and turns the aqua luminous. From a distance the crest and the arc of leaves read as two lines; close to, the fingers of spray and each leaf come out.
Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The number of leaves and the length of their run are settled with the order, the aqua can be taken deeper or changed for another tint, and the wave can also be made without the leaves, as water alone. With no leaves it is a quieter piece that asks for less room around it. It travels in one crate with the leaves wrapped apart from the water and the wires braced, and it is unpacked holding the wave at its foot, never by a wire. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Gilded leaves arching on fine wires over an aqua wave with frosted fingers take this piece into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
