Aqua Fluted Rolling Ridge Resin Sculpture, 150cm, a fluted teal-blue resin piece with an undulating ridge and deep hollow, shown against a plain white background.
Aqua Fluted Rolling Ridge Resin Sculpture - 150cm $8,77100
Description

A long, low landscape in aqua resin. Its face is combed from end to end into close vertical flutes, and its top edge rises and falls like a line of rolling hills, dipping near one end into a deep hollow that runs back through the form. The aqua glows brightest in a band along the foot and deepens to a dark teal towards the crest.

A Line of Hills Combed Into Flutes

The flutes do two jobs. They give the long face a rhythm, a regular pattern of light and shade that makes a simple outline rich, and they turn the colour into something that changes as you move, since each flute catches the light at a slightly different angle. The ridge line is kept soft and unhurried, a landscape rather than a wave, and the hollow near one end breaks the rhythm at the right moment. The bright band along the foot anchors the whole length.

It is long and low, so it belongs on a sideboard, a long console or a low cabinet, where its whole length is seen from the front. Side light sweeps across the flutes and brings the ridge to life; from the front it glows more evenly. A pale wall behind lets the aqua show. It is as much at home in a dining room or an office as in a living room, and it gives a long wall a calm horizon.

Colour, Length and Its Crate

As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. It can be made in clear, green, blue or amber, and to another length with the ridge redrawn to suit. A clear version turns the flutes into lines of light rather than colour. The hollow near one end can be moved or doubled to change the rhythm of the ridge. It is packed flat in a long crate, well padded along the flutes, and two people lift it onto its surface. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Combed into upright flutes and rolling like a line of hills, this long aqua ridge is shown with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
