A splash that rises from a narrow foot and opens like a flared bowl, its rim torn into points: a tall, flame-like point stands on each side, a fan of lesser points spreads beyond one of them, a long low wing sweeps out beyond the other, and a rounded lobe lifts between them. The aqua blue is deepest where the water gathers at the foot and grows paler towards the points, and fine flutes run up from the foot into every point. Its base is a little block of black marble, overhung by the splash on both sides.
The shape is a splash seen as a vessel, and the balance between the two is what has to be held. Too even a rim and it becomes a bowl; too ragged and it loses the outline that makes it readable from across a table. So one point on each side is drawn up tall and the rest are kept short and uneven, which gives the rim a clear silhouette with a broken edge. The flutes climb from the foot into each point, and they are what make the resin look as if it were still rising. The aqua follows the depth of the water, strong in the narrow foot and thinning out to colourless resin at the rim.
At this size it belongs on a sideboard, a console or a wide shelf at about eye level, or at the centre of a long dining room where it is seen across the table. It is slim from front to back, so it fits a narrow surface. A pale wall or a bright window beyond it suits it best: the aqua deepens against a light ground, and daylight from behind makes the flutes glitter. It reads as one flared shape from the door and as a mass of torn points close to.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. On commission the aqua can be made richer or softer, or swapped for another tint, and the points drawn up further or held closer to the rim, with white marble or a stone of your choosing cut for the base in place of black. The flutes are kept whatever the colour, since they carry the eye from the foot up into the points. It is packed upright in a single crate with its points padded; take it out holding the narrow foot, not the points. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
An aqua splash flaring open into a torn crown of points carries this piece into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
