Description

A windblown figure cast in aqua blue resin. The skirt sweeps back and flares at the foot, the body twists upward, and the top opens into a thin, wind-caught flare. The aqua is even through the resin, strong in the thick of the skirt and pale where the flare thins to an edge, so the figure seems made of sea water. It is mounted on black marble, and the block is included in the price.

A Figure Made of Sea Water

A single colour through the whole figure lets the form do the work. Where the skirt gathers, the aqua is strong and almost blue-green; where the flare thins out at the crown, it pales to a glassy tint, so the colour models the figure as a shadow would. There is no grading to plan around, which gives the piece a calm, all-over glow. It is polished to a deep gloss over every surface, and the colour, carried by the resin itself, will not fade with handling.

Place it on a wide shelf or a console in a bathroom, a bedroom or a sunny living room. It loves white walls, pale wood and plants, and it brings a cool note to a warm room. Sunlight from a window beside it makes the aqua glow; a warm lamp turns it faintly green. Keep strong reds away from it, and it reads well from a doorway.

Bluer, Greener, or Frosted, and How It Comes

Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The aqua can be moved towards a deeper blue or towards green, or the surface frosted for a soft, sea-glass look. The block can be made in white marble. Other versions of this figure grade amber to clear, black to clear, or violet to clear, each sold separately. It comes assembled in a single crate and is a one-person lift, taken by the block with the figure kept upright. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
