Aqua resin makes up all of this chair's shell, a broad cup of rounded lobes whose two outer points reach out level with the arms. Dark green ink hangs in clouds through the back and drifts down into the seat, and towards the right shoulder the aqua deepens into cobalt. A navy roll closes the shell along its lip, and the chair turns on a black column above a black disc.
Aqua is the ground colour, and it reaches right out to the tips of the lobes instead of fading to clear. Over it the green does the drawing: heavy, dark clouds through the right half of the back, finer threads to the left, and a few loose trails settling into the seat. Where the shell curls over at the right shoulder the aqua turns to a saturated cobalt that continues round the outer face. Navy runs along the rolled lip, deepest where the shell meets the column, and the black stand keeps every bit of colour up in the shell.
At a desk or a dressing table it gives a plain room one strong note of colour, and because it turns on its column, getting in and out needs no space behind it. Sea colours look their best against white, pale grey or natural oak, while busy pattern behind the shell muddies the green. A window to one side lets the aqua glow and pushes the ink darker. Keep the black disc on hard flooring or a tight weave. Indoor use only.
A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. How much green goes in can be steered when ordering, from a few drifting threads to clouds as heavy as these, and the aqua can be taken paler or nearer to a true blue. The stand is offered in black, as here, polished chrome or brass. Each shell is coloured by hand, so the ink settles into a pattern that will not repeat on the next chair. Shell and stand are packed apart, and the stand bolts to the underside of the seat once both are out of their crates. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Aqua and green seating like this joins our art furniture; the black stand belongs with our metal sculptures, and the lobed shell with our organic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
