Aqua & Frosted Mountain Range Resin Sculpture - 70cm with a jagged double-peak ridge, icy white-to-aqua finish, shown on a plain white background.
Aqua & Frosted Mountain Range Resin Sculpture - 70cm $2,02500
Description

A long, low ridge of frosted resin runs the length of this piece as a line of jagged points, dips, sends up a single sharp spur, then climbs at one end into a tall double summit, its two tips standing close together like the horns of an alpine peak. The surface is crinkled and pitted like old ice, a pale silvery white across the points shading down into a clear aqua along the foot. It needs no base, resting on the flat underside of the range.

A Ridge of Ice Points Rising to a Double Summit

A range reads as a range only when its skyline has rhythm, and this one is built as a sequence: a cluster of small points along most of its length, a dip, a lone spur, then the climb to the double summit and a broad shoulder beyond it. Because the high ground is gathered at one end, the piece has a direction, like a ridge seen from a valley floor. The frost is laid over every face and softens the light, so the points glow rather than sparkle, and the aqua is kept low in the ridge, so the whole range seems to rise out of clear water.

Its length suits a broad desk, a sideboard or a console, set parallel to the wall so the whole skyline reads at once from across the room. Light from the side runs along the points and picks out the crinkled frost, while a lamp behind it lets the aqua foot glow. A dark wall makes the pale summit stand out sharply; a white one turns the piece soft and wintry. It sits well on a deep shelf in a study too. Indoor use only.

The Range's Tint, Its Skyline and Delivery

Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Made to commission, the range can carry a soft green, a sky blue or a smoky grey instead of aqua, or stay untinted under the frost, and its skyline can be redrawn with more points or a single summit. The range can also be made at another length with the same rhythm of points and spur. It is crated with soft packing around every point, and it is lifted with both hands flat beneath its underside rather than by the summit. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Jagged ice points climbing to a double summit carry this frosted range into our resin sculptures, our contemporary and modern sculptures and our organic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
