Aqua & Clear Twin Crest Wave Cast Resin Sculpture - 105cm, two turquoise and clear wave crests rising and curling toward each other on a flat base, shown against a plain white background.
Aqua & Clear Twin Crest Wave Cast Resin Sculpture - 105cm $4,11900
Description

Aqua turquoise fills the long foot of this wave like shallow sea over pale sand, then thins as a crest climbs at either end and leans across towards the other over an open gap. The left-hand crest finishes in two prongs, one standing upright and one reaching sideways, while the right-hand crest breaks into short fingers. A cluster of fingers rises between them, a flat wing reaches out from the foot at one end, and every tip is clear.

Aqua Along the Foot, Clear Where the Crests Break

The turquoise is set where the water would be deepest. Along the foot it is a saturated sea-glass aqua, deeper again in the folds, and it lets go gradually as the crests rise, through a paler wash to colourless resin at every tip, with no edge anywhere to show where the colour stops. The opening overhead is the other half of the design: the eye runs up one crest, jumps the gap and comes down the far side, so that stretch of empty sky is placed as carefully as the water around it. The fingers standing in the middle stop the space from reading as empty.

Long and shallow, it reads best from straight in front, where the space between the two tips opens fully; seen from the side, one crest hides the other and the gap disappears. A console against a pale wall, a long sideboard or a low cabinet in a hall suits it, with clear wall above the crests so the open gap reads against it. Daylight from one side lifts the aqua in the foot and catches the clear tips. Indoor use only.

Depth of Aqua, Width of the Opening and Shipping

Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. The price is for one wave, sold individually. As a commission the aqua can be carried higher up the crests or kept down in the foot, made deeper or paler, and the opening at the top can be drawn wider or brought almost closed; the whole wave can also be made at another size. It travels lying down in a padded crate with each crest wrapped separately, and two people lift it out from beneath the foot and set it in place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Aqua water gathered in a long foot below two clear crests carries this wave into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
