Aqua & Clear Low Wide Splash Cast Resin Sculpture (68cm) by Giant Sculptures, wave-like form in aqua and clear resin with pierced holes, set on a plain white background.
Aqua & Clear Low Wide Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 68cm $2,70100
Description

Bright aqua, the colour of a shallow lagoon, pools along the hollow of this resin splash and fades upward through every finger, so each tip is left clear. The splash rises at both ends. On one side a broad mass with two big oval windows and a round hole low down leans a long arm up over the space; on the other a tall, flame-like plume stands beside a slender finger, and a few short fingers with split tips stand in the dip between.

Lagoon Aqua Fading Into Clear Fingertips

The aqua is brightest where the resin is gathered, in the hollow along the bottom, and it softens as the splash climbs, passing through a pale turquoise on the body before it goes altogether. The tips, the arm and the top of the plume are left colourless, so they read as spray against the coloured water below them. Nowhere is there an edge to the colour: the change happens gradually inside the resin, and the glossy surface carries highlights across both the coloured part and the clear.

Wide and low, it suits a low chest, a credenza or a long desk where it can be looked at from slightly above, so the fingers part and the spaces between show. A white or soft grey room with linen and driftwood suits it, and daylight from a window to one side brightens the aqua in the hollow. Keep it clear of anything busy behind, or the slim points are lost. Indoor use only.

How Far the Aqua Climbs, and the Journey

It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. This is one splash, sold individually. To order, the aqua can be taken further up the body or kept to the hollow, mixed brighter or a little greener, and the arm can be drawn out longer or held in. It ships lying down, its points sleeved, inside a padded case, and you lift it out by the heavy part beneath the fingers. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Lagoon aqua paling from the hollow up to every fingertip lets this low splash join our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
