An amber resin form of two cupped lobes opening from a single point, set on a tall plinth of black marble. One lobe rises tall and curves over at its tip, the other stays low and rounded, a shallow cup turned towards it, so the piece opens like a seed pod or a shell parting. The whole piece glows a warm orange that deepens to a dark red-amber along its thick rims. The plinth is a plain black block, and it comes with the piece.
The form is two lobes of resin parting from one point, and its interest is in how it opens: one lobe is drawn up tall and the other kept low, so the opening between them is lopsided and changes as the piece is walked round. The resin is thickest along the rims, where the colour gathers to a dark red-amber, and thins across the cupped inner faces, which glow a pale gold when light passes through them, so each lobe is drawn in shades of amber. The black marble plinth is left completely plain, a dark column that makes the warm colour above it look brighter still.
At 132cm overall its lobes are met at about chest height, so it is a floor-standing piece for a hallway, a landing, a reception or the far end of a living room, where it can be walked round as the opening between them changes with the angle. A window behind it or a lamp beside it makes the amber glow. A plain, pale wall behind the column keeps the black reading cleanly and leaves the amber the brightest thing in view.
Lead times run 5–6 weeks bespoke and 3–4 standard. In place of amber the resin can be red, green, blue or smoke, and the black plinth can be exchanged for white marble or raised or brought down to suit the room. A white plinth gives the amber a softer, gallery look, while black makes it glow. The form can also be made at another size, the two lobes kept in the same proportion to each other. Form and plinth are crated apart, and the amber is held from beneath at the point it opens from, with no hand on the rim of either lobe. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two amber lobes parting from one point over a plain black marble column are found among our resin sculptures, our organic sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
