Two ribbed sheets rise out of a single foot on this cast resin sculpture and turn away from one another above a base of black marble. One opens out sideways like a fan, its near edge rolled over into a lip; the other climbs behind it, breaks into a row of sharp points down one side, flares at the top into a tall open cone and folds back over itself in a small ribbed curl. The ribs run the length of each sheet, so the light breaks along them into fine parallel lines. Its amber runs deepest low down and warms again round the rim of the cone, and it clears to almost colourless through the rounded lobes at the centre and the outer tips of the fan.
Everything about this piece happens at the junction, where one body becomes two. Above it the sheets go their own ways: the fan sweeps out to the side, while the second sheet rises, ends its ribs in points along one edge, gathers into rounded lobes through its middle and opens into the cone, with the small curl turned back beside it. The ribbing follows the line each sheet travels, so a rib runs unbroken from the junction to wherever it finishes, at a point, a lobe or the rim. The amber gathers at the two ends of that journey, the foot and the cone, and the lobes between them run nearly clear, so the ribs there read as lines of light rather than of colour.
At 76cm including its stone this is console, sideboard and credenza work, best placed where the junction can be read from the front, because the junction is where the piece explains itself. It wants clearance above and to both sides: the sheets reach out and a shelf set close above them cuts the reach off. Light from behind and to one side is what this needs, since amber is a transmitting colour and comes alive with something behind it. Front lighting leaves it flat and a little muddy, and the fine ribbing that carries most of the interest goes altogether.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. On commission it is the colour that changes: this amber can be taken deeper or paler, or the resin tinted to a colour matched from a sample you send. Besides this black marble, the same block is made in a pale stone. Whoever moves it takes it by the foot and the block together, and never by an outer edge of either sheet, since the points and the rim of the cone are the fine parts. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two amber sheets parting at one foot, a fan to one side and a toothed cone to the other, lead on to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
