Two ribbed sheets of amber resin rise from one root in this cast sculpture. The first is swept out almost level, a long, gently curved sheet tapering to a pale tip; the second climbs into a fan of upright fins and rolls over at the top into a curl. The amber runs from a red-orange at the root, through warm gold, to almost clear on the thin faces, and the fins are edged in a deeper amber. The squared block beneath it is black marble and is included.
Amber is a colour that changes with the light, and this design gives it plenty to work with. The upright fins of the climbing sheet catch light on every edge, so the fan reads as a stack of glowing blades, while the swept sheet below spreads its ribs wide and lets the colour thin to a pale gold. At the root the amber is at its richest, almost red, which anchors the two movements. The ribs run with each sweep from start to finish, so the eye can trace one line from the root out to the tip of the swept sheet and another up into the curl.
At 110cm the piece needs floor space in a hall, an entrance or a generous landing, where the swept sheet can reach out without crowding a doorway or a route through the room. Amber warms a cool interior and sits comfortably with walnut, leather, brass and stone. Daylight from the side sets the fins glowing, and after dark a lamp placed beside it does the same. Against a plain wall its outline reads clearly.
The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. Made to commission, the amber can go darker, towards cognac, or lighter, towards honey, and the red-orange root can be left out for an even gold. The fins can be set closer or wider apart, the swept sheet drawn out further or held in nearer the root, and the whole piece scaled up for a lobby. Its base is black marble unless white or grey marble is requested. The resin is lifted with both hands round the root, the swept sheet supported from beneath, and never by a fin or the curl. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Amber fins fanning up from a red-orange root, beside one sheet swept out level, are placed among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
