Amber Twin Loop Sphere Resin Sculpture, 159cm, with looped amber-to-gold bands on a tall white marble plinth against a plain light background.
Amber Twin Loop Sphere Resin Sculpture - 159cm $2,90200
Description

Two broad bands loop round each other to make a sphere, with an open centre where they cross. It comes with a choice of two supports, a tall marble plinth for the floor or a low marble base for a surface. The amber is deepest in the bands and turns to gold in the open centre.

Two Bands Looped Into a Sphere

Two loops crossing at right angles make a sphere without closing it, and the openings are what the piece is about: the eye goes in through them to the centre, where the bands cross and the colour concentrates. The amber is held deepest in the bands themselves and fades to gold at their edges, so the centre reads as the brightest part of the sphere. The bands are kept broad and smooth, since any texture would break up the light that pools at the crossing, and the sphere is set on a slim stem so it floats.

At 159cm on the tall plinth it stands on the floor, at the turn of a stair or beside a doorway, with the sphere at eye level. On the low base it goes on a console or a sideboard. A pale wall behind it lets the amber glow. Light from behind or above fills the centre with gold. From a distance it reads as a single glowing ball, and the crossing bands resolve as you approach.

Choosing the Support, the Amber and Two Crates

Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The choice of support is made at the order: the tall plinth for a floor piece or the low base for a surface, and the price differs between them. The bands can also be drawn broader or narrower, and the amber can be taken deeper or lighter. Broader bands make the openings narrower and the glow at the centre stronger. On the tall plinth it travels in two crates, and two people set the sphere on its plinth. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

The sphere of bands joins our organic sculpture; the amber casting, our resin sculpture; the clean geometry of its loops, our contemporary sculpture.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
