Two lobes curl towards one another over a shared foot, leaving a wide opening between their tips: the left one rolls over into a short hook, while the right one rises high as a broad, open scoop with a thick, rounded rim. The colour moves across the piece in soft zones rather than bands, from near-black on the left lobe through a pale cream along the belly to a red-orange streaked with darker veils on the right, with pale honey inside the scoop. It stands on a block of white marble, supplied with the piece.
Imported clear resin carries the colour right through its depth, so each tone is seen through the body rather than laid on the surface. On the left lobe the tint gathers so heavily that the resin looks nearly black, warming to a deep brown only where the curl of the hook thins. Towards the middle it fades to a milky cream across the belly, then warms again into red-orange on the right, where darker red-brown veils drift through the resin like the markings of tortoiseshell. Inside the scoop the same veils lie over a pale honey ground that glows whenever light reaches it from behind. The whole surface is polished glass-smooth, the rims included.
A shelf, a desk or a side table will take it, and seen square on, both lobes and the opening between them are in view at once. From the side the two close on one another and the piece reads as a single mass. A position lit from one side keeps the zones of colour distinct, while an even wash from above runs the dark lobe, the cream belly and the red-orange together into one muddy amber. The white block lifts the foot clear of whatever it stands on.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. On commission the colours can be set to run the other way, the lobes drawn closer together or opened further apart, and the marble block cut in black rather than white. The piece can be made at other spans on a block cut to suit, with the opening between the tips set wider or almost closed. A single tint through the whole body is possible too, which gives a calmer object without the dark lobe. Block and casting are crated separately, and the casting is lifted by the foot and never by a lobe. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two lobes, one near-black and hooked and the other a honey-lined scoop, rise from a single foot of resin and belong with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
