Amber to Clear Feathered Wings Resin Sculpture - 86cm $1,82300
Description

Two feathered wings rising from a shared foot and opening like a V, every feather carved as a separate ridge. The colour starts as a deep amber in the loop where the wings join, passes through gold and pale yellow, and clears completely at the top, so the wings seem to dissolve into the air. A black marble block, included, carries them.

Wings Rising Out of Amber

Grading from amber to clear gives the wings a sense of lift: the weight of colour is in the joined base, and the feathers above turn to glass as they spread. The individual feathers are sharp and separate, and the clear resin at the top makes each one flash in the light. Each piece clears at a slightly different height, and the whole pair is polished all over, including the narrow gap where the two wings part, so the amber glows evenly all round.

Set it on a sideboard in a study, a hall or a drawing room, against a darker wall where the clear points show. Rooms with walnut, oak and brass are its natural home. A lamp at one side lights the amber; daylight behind turns the feather points into bright sparks, and at dusk the base glows like honey.

Other Grades, More Feathers, and Delivery

As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. The amber can be deepened towards red or lightened towards honey, and the clear passage can begin nearer the base or nearer the tips. The block can also be cut from white marble. The same pair is made graded from red to clear and in blue, sold separately. Both wings are cushioned in the crate for the journey, and the piece is lifted by the block, never by the feathers, which are finer than they look. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
