An amber resin dart of three fins swept off a single central ridge, one standing tall and two carried out wide to either side. Amber runs through all three fins and deepens to a red-brown along the ridge where they meet and along their thin outer edges. The round steel plate is supplied, and the dart stands on it where its three fins meet.
Three fins is an awkward number and that is the point: it gives the piece no symmetry to fall back on, so it has to be balanced by eye at every angle. The ridge is therefore not in the middle of anything. It is set where the three sweeps happen to balance, which is why the piece looks settled from the front and dynamic from the side. The tall fin rises almost straight from the plate, while the two side fins sweep out to points held well clear of it. Polished, each fin catches the light in bright points across its face, while the ridge, seen edge on, stays a dark line.
At 63cm with its plate it suits a desk or a narrow console, with the plate flat on the surface. A plain wall holds the three fins; anything vertical behind them competes with the ridge. A light above and slightly forward catches all three fins at once. The three fins read as a single swept shape until you can see the ridge that makes them three.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. A fourth fin is added, the amber is deepened, and the plate is made brushed rather than polished. Add a fin and all of them are reset around the ridge, since the sweep is shared between them. A deeper amber turns the ridge almost black and leaves the tips of the fins glowing. Plate and dart travel together in one crate, and the dart is lifted by its central ridge, never by the fine tips of its fins. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
An amber dart of three swept fins standing on a round steel plate is part of our stainless steel sculptures, our organic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
