A tall double fold in amber resin: one fold rises from the foot and opens outward, and above it a second fold rolls over and away like a banner caught by the wind. The amber reads deep honey in the folds and gold along the edges, and the piece stands on a black marble base that comes with it.
Amber changes what the folds do: instead of returning the room, as the clear version does, the colour glows wherever light meets it, so the sweep reads warm from any angle. The folds are drawn thin, which keeps the outline a line rather than a mass, and the waist between them is where the piece gathers its strength. The colour is even through the casting, with no streaks or clouding, so the form alone carries the movement. Both folds are polished on every side, top and underside alike.
Give it floor space in an atrium or a large entrance, with room to walk past it on every side. A plain, pale wall behind it shows the amber at its best; in front of glazing the colour lights up in the afternoon sun. A spotlight from one side runs along both folds and deepens the honey tones.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. The amber can be deepened towards brown or lightened towards gold, and the upper fold can be opened further, in which case the marble base grows with it. The base can be cut to another plan to suit the floor. The clear version of the same form is sold as its own piece. It is crated on a pallet; the base is set level on site before the casting goes onto it, and four people handle the lift. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
More wind-caught folds of this size are gathered in our organic sculptures, and amber and other warm castings appear in our resin sculptures and among the floor pieces in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
