Amber Ringed Bowl Top Cast Resin Coffee Table - 60cm
Amber Ringed Bowl Top Cast Resin Coffee Table - 60cm $5,13300
Description

The top of this cast resin coffee table is a wide shallow bowl, its wall rising and turning in slightly at the rim, and two fine rings are cut round the outside of that wall one above the other. The upper face inside the bowl is flat. Below it the base is a plain cylinder of the same diameter as the bowl's foot, straight-sided and unbroken. Everything is a strong amber. The base holds an even tone from top to bottom, while the bowl reads darker towards its foot.

Two Rings Cut Around an Amber Bowl

Everything here turns on the two incised rings. Without them the piece would be a bowl on a drum and would read as one continuous mass, because the bowl and the base are the same amber and meet at the same diameter. The rings interrupt the wall at two heights, close together and parallel, and they catch light as two bright lines that separate the top from what carries it. The base holds one even tone from top to bottom, while the bowl darkens towards its foot. The upper face inside the bowl is flat and left plain, which keeps the piece usable as a table rather than a vessel.

It makes a proper coffee table for a sofa to face, and the wide base means it wants to stand clear rather than tuck under anything. The amber is strong and will read as the warmest thing in a pale room. The two incised rings catch light from the side, so a low lamp nearby is worth more than a ceiling light. The flat inner face takes a tray. It is heavy for its size. Indoors.

The Bowl, the Rings, and the Order

It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. The incised rings are what fills the time. Three things are yours to choose. The amber is open, the number of incised rings can be changed, and the base height and its diameter are both quoted to your figures. The bowl can also be supplied with a flat insert if a level surface is wanted throughout. Both the top diameter and the overall height are yours to set. A group ordered at one time will carry the amber depth in the bowl evenly. The rim of the bowl is padded first, and then it is a two-person job to walk it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

An amber bowl set on a plain drum belongs with our geometric sculptures; as a coffee table it serves among our art furniture, and its two cut rings suit our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
