This ring of deep amber red resin is broken open on one side, leaving its two ends to reach toward each other without meeting. Dark swirls run through the red like smoke, and each end carries a rough, crystalline crust of yellow amber, as if the ring had been snapped from a block of stone. Black marble forms its base, and the base is included.
The two crusts are what make the ring read as broken rather than simply unfinished. They are textured and frosted while the arc is polished glass-smooth, so the eye moves from rough to smooth and back as it travels round. The dark swirls sit differently in every casting, which is why no two of these rings are the same, and they gather most thickly where the red is deepest. The yellow of the crust is chosen to glow against the red, like light caught in a fracture.
At 42cm it is right for a deep shelf, a side table or a console, and it reads best square on. Give it a pale wall or a window behind, because light passing through the red makes it glow like embers in a grate. Against a dark ground the red closes up and the crusts carry the piece on their own.
As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. The red can be taken deeper toward garnet or lighter toward amber, and the crusts made in gold leaf or left clear and frosted, which cools the whole ring. How far apart the ends sit is also set at order, from a wide break to one that almost closes. A flat case carries it with the break braced so nothing presses across it; the marble travels separately, and one person can manage the ring. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A red ring snapped apart belongs with our organic sculptures; amber red resin swirled with dark smoke leads to our resin sculptures, and an ember-coloured piece for a shelf joins our indoor sculptures.

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
