Amber Graded Miniature Splash Resin Sculpture - 56cm, a wave-like resin piece shifting from deep amber at the base to clear branching tendrils above, on a black rectangular base against a plain white background.
Amber Graded Miniature Splash Resin Sculpture - 56cm $1,75300
Description

This small amber splash rises from a cup of upright fingers, deep reddish amber at the foot and paling to colourless as it climbs. On one side a fan of fingers flares out sideways; on the other a long arm sweeps up in an arc, and above the cup the water gathers into a tangle of clear, branching tendrils that twist round one another and send two slender points up to the top. Beneath it is a black marble block, a little narrower than the spread of the splash.

Amber Spray Climbing Into a Clear Tangle

The colour carries the depth here. In the cup at the foot the amber is dense and reddish where the fingers crowd together, and it lightens to honey as they rise, so each finger runs from a dark root to a pale tip. Above the cup the tint is spent: the long arm clears as it climbs, and the tangle it reaches is colourless, its branching tendrils reading as spray thrown so high that the colour has fallen back out of it. The fan of fingers flaring out to one side keeps a little warmth at its roots, which ties it to the cup rather than to the clear water above.

At 56cm with its marble block it suits a desk, a side table or a deep shelf, where the tangle at the top comes close to eye level for anyone seated nearby. Daylight from behind is what it wants most, since the amber only glows when it is backlit, while from the front alone the cup reads dark. A plain, pale wall behind the clear tendrils keeps their branching visible, and the footprint is small enough for a narrow surface.

Other Tints, a Second Size, and Delivery

Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. The amber can be taken to a red or a honey gold, the gradient set to finish nearer the foot or carried on up into the tangle, and the piece made at twice this height. The tendrils at the top can be drawn fuller and more branched, or fewer and plainer where a quieter outline suits the room, and the block itself can be cut from white marble instead. A single padded box carries it, the fingers and tendrils faced and the marble block packed below them, and it should only ever be lifted by the cup at its foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Amber spray climbing out of a cup of fingers into clear, branching tendrils is part of our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
